Motion lyric piece

This motion graphics project is inspired by the song “Su Li Zhen” by Khalil Fong. The piece explores a soft, nostalgic, and cinematic atmosphere through animated illustrations, slow pacing, and emotional visual storytelling. My goal was to translate the mood of the music into motion, using movement, composition, and timing to reflect the song’s romantic and slightly melancholic feeling.

The animation focuses on how still drawings can become more expressive through subtle motion. I used layered visuals, transitions, and rhythm to match the feeling of the song, creating a dreamy visual experience rather than a literal storyline. Through this project, I explored the connection between music, image, and motion, and how animation can communicate emotion in a quiet but powerful way.
