ZEN
Wiki-Book Design
This project is a printed book titled ZEN, inspired by the Wikipedia entry on Zen. Designed with a minimalist aesthetic, the book presents the essence of Zen philosophy through carefully curated texts and visuals. It features bilingual content in both English and Chinese,
allowing a broader audience to engage with the material.
The layout balances traditional ink artworks, portraits of Zen masters, and concise explanations, creating a serene and thoughtful reading experience. This physical publication serves as both an educational reference and a meditative object, reflecting Zen thought's quiet simplicity and depth.
SUZHOU
Book Design
*"Suzhou" is a personal book design project that explores my hometown through the lens of history, modernity, and food—intertwined with my memories of growing up in the city. Inspired by Suzhou’s classical gardens, I used a minimalist black-and-white aesthetic, incorporating delicate textures and handwritten notes on sulfur paper to evoke a sense of nostalgia and intimacy. The book blends archival imagery, personal reflections, and urban landscapes, capturing Suzhou’s evolution from an ancient Watertown to a thriving contemporary city. Through curated spreads on UNESCO-listed gardens, industrial growth, and local flavors, I invite readers to experience Suzhou not just as a place, but as a living part of my identity. Printed as a tactile, artful object, this project is both a tribute to home and a meditation on how cities shape who we become.
NYU
Shanghai
Commercial Project
Inspired by NYU Shanghai’s Qilin mascot, this design system includes a logo, booklet, icons, and merchandise for the Class of 2029. Using a playful purple palette and friendly illustrations, it creates a cohesive, welcoming experience that reflects school spirit and community care.
MOBILE
Web Prototype
This app design addresses transportation and community challenges caused by flooding in a local neighbourhood. Focused on safety, coordination, and accessibility, the app helps neighbours share real-time updates, request or offer rides, and stay informed about road conditions. Through clear visuals and user-friendly features, it fosters a sense of community resilience and mutual support during emergencies.

EMAIL
BANNER
Web Design
I designed these digital banners as part of NYU Shanghai’s newsletter email series, focusing on student engagement events such as “Sunset Social” , “Qilin Forum”, and “City Scavenger Hunt”. Each design was tailored to fit the university's visual identity while maintaining clarity, warmth, and approachability in a mobile-friendly email format.
ONLINE ZOO
Web Design
"OnlineZoo" is an interactive web design project that reimagines the traditional zoo experience through a dynamic, user-friendly digital platform. Coded entirely by me, this website features a virtual tour of animal exhibits with live streams, educational content, and interactive elements like donation forms and adoption features. The design prioritizes intuitive navigation, responsive layouts, and engaging visuals to create an immersive experience for users of all ages. Built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the project demonstrates my ability to blend creative design with functional coding while highlighting my passion for wildlife conservation and accessible digital experiences.

VASE
Web Prototype
This is an interactive digital experience that invites users to explore combinations of poetic words to reveal unique visual outcomes—in this case, the generation of ornate vases. The interface features two rotating dials, each displaying a selection of evocative words. When the correct combination is selected, a matching vase appears on a virtual shelf.
This project blends elements of wordplay, visual aesthetics, and puzzle-solving, offering an engaging way to explore how language can shape form and meaning. The design evokes a Victorian or steampunk atmosphere with decorative textures and a classical layout, adding a sense of mystery and elegance.

WOMEN RIGHTS
Fashion Editorial
My fashion editorial project, "Equality and Pystopia," is a deeply personal exploration of women’s rights and dystopian themes, blending garment design, branding, and photography—all I created. Inspired by *The Handmaid’s Tale*, I wanted to critique patriarchal control, gender expectations, and societal oppression through striking visuals and powerful storytelling. From the symbolic clothing to the photo shoot at The New School, every element challenges stereotypes and advocates for true equality. This project merges art with activism, reflecting my commitment to sparking conversation and change around women’s autonomy and justice.
